R & G Marine & Industrial Services were established in 1983 and were originally based in Gravesend, Kent, in the South of England.
As the company expanded we relocated to our current site in Sittingbourne, Kent in 1987.

The company is a privately owned family concern run by Directors Graham and Deanna Newman and their daughter Heidi, together with a team of highly experienced staff.
The company has built its reputation over the years by offering customers a fast, efficient service using quality materials at competitive prices. We will NEVER sacrifice quality or offer poor workmanship to achieve a low price as we firmly believe this to be a false economy, which only leads to unhappy customers.....The memory of a sub-standard product lasts longer than the memory of the bargain price!

The company operates from a modern, fully equipped works with a skilled workforce offering a comprehensive service to general industry, docks, transport, marine leisure and any other area where wire and fibre ropes, rope fittings and lifting equipment is used.
Many major UK and international companies are customers of 'R & G', including steel mills, ports, shipping, door manufacturers, construction companies and the marine leisure industry. We will gladly supply goods throughout the world when requested.

R & G have over the years steadily grown to become a leading manufacturer of Wire Rope Assemblies and lifting Slings. We are also wholesale suppliers of Wire Ropes, Fibre Ropes, Rope Fittings and Lifting Equipment, Specialist Splicing Services are offered together with a comprehensive inspection and testing service for lifting gear both on site and in our fully equipped works.
Any type of bespoke assembly or lifting sling can be made to customers requirements, assistance in design is offered if required.

In 1993 the Directors of R & G Marine & Industrial Services acquired 'Taylor Splice Company'. This company now trades as a division of R & G Marine & Industrial Services and specialises in the manufacture and supply of splicing equipment and wire rope fittings.
